One of my favorite breakfast stops on Cape Cod! Seems now every knows of it and that is a good thing. The Daily Paper has a reputation for being fantastic for breakfast and it never disappoints. It will always be crowded especially during summer time/weekends so just be prepared to wait a little. When my wife and I go we usually never have to wait longer than fifteen or twenty minutes. When it comes to food I feel you really can't go wrong whether you are in the mood for a omelette, french toast, or waffles The Daily Paper has you covered for something great! The service for being so busy is always engaging and attentive to your table. Highly recommend and will always go back.
This is an extremely popular breakfast spot. I've never seen it when there was a small crowd. It seems to be well known by both locals and tourists. The food portions are plentiful and delicious. The service is top notch. The prices are reasonable.
Very busy place at lunch time on Saturday. They hand you front page news when you sit down. As busy as it was the service was extremely friendly, professional, quick and delicious. I had the cranberry turkey club sandwich. Real turkey breast meat ( not deli ), and real cranberry sauce. Like I said - delish!! Try it - you'll like it.
Their breakfast was just OK, which was surprising for a place that was as busy and highly recommended as it was. The eggs Benedict were overcooked, and the English muffin that it rested on was doughy and undertoasted. The home fries were well seasoned, but they were soft and lacking a crispy outer crunch (if you like that).
The kids meals were a great value. They were big enough for an adult to eat.
All in all it felt like a very average breakfast.
Great breakfast spot. We went around 9:45 and the place was still packed. The double trouble is a great entree, we got one with blueberry pancakes and another with banana cream stuffed Texas toast. Both delicious. Good coffee, good service, outside seating, reasonable prices for the cape. This is a top spot if you're in the West end of Hyannis.
