“Aside from the staff being all around great- speedy, welcoming and friendly, let’s talk about the food. We got four different subs for our family’s order. Hot Chipotle Chicken did NOT disappoint. Most hot sandwiches like this would be tough to eat in one piece but this sub held together like a champ and was absolutely delicious. 10/10. Our cold subs- Tuna, Club and Italian (I forget their given numbers)- all of which were unforgettable. Since we weren’t eating them until later the staff was nice enough to pack some oil/vinegar in nice little leak-proof cups. Sure, they do cost a little more than your typical sub shop, but have you seen the size of them?! They were piled up with fresh meats and fresh veggies. We will be back and thank you a job well done and for money well spent.”

“I went there for Lunch, Service was friendly and fast. I started with the Clam Chowder, which was great, and then had the fish sandwich, which was even better. I would definitely recommend this place for a great meal or just a few drinks. They have a "to go" area also, so that folks can grab something quick while catching the ferry. I grabbed a cup of coffee for the road. Also, there is a rooftop bar! A great spot.”

Our waiter made us laugh, and always checked to see how we were doing. After our meal, I went to the restroom and it was nice and clean in there. “Definitely a tourist eatery -- nice location and great places to sit outside on a nice day. Prices are pretty high for everything on the menu. And don't come here on a diet -- all I got was a pretty horrible salad with the tiniest pieces of chicken on top (I weighed it at only 3oz -- when I need 5oz!). They don't have dressings either that are diet friendly either -- why can't they just have olive oil and vinegar or lemon to put on it? It would be really nice to see some healthier non-fried options on the menu. And please don't be cheap on the protein!”

“Six of us (4 adults and 2 children) went for a lobster dinner on a Saturday night...was told the wait would be 30 minutes for an inside booth but about 5 minutes later our table was ready! Despite being extremely busy, our service was excellent and the food was outstanding! I read lots of reviews for lots of seafood restaurants before choosing Spanky’s and I’m so thankful we ended up there! The seafood chowder was so good and the lobster was delicious, even the corn on the cob was excellent! Highly recommend!”
