We come to the Lobster Trap every summer when we visit family on the Cape. It's always a highlight! And every year it's busier and better than the year before! They have beautiful outdoor seating now. Great place!

Used to eat here often and food was always great. Yesterday, my husband ordered swordfish and it was great. I ordered whole belly clams and was disappointed. Overcooked and without the usual plump bellies. In fact, I checked that they weren't clam strips. They were not! Noticed that other reviews have mentioned the poor quality of the clams. Servers were attentive and very sweet. Could be a fun place for a Cape Cod dining experience. They also have a fish market but beware, fresh lobster meat was $57.95 per pound. Long time ago we used to buy lobster knuckles here for 25 cents a pound.

Great casual waterfront restaurant. Very good seafood selections with unusual combos. Service was great even though the place was packed. Wonderful atmosphere. No reservations so be prepared to wait. There was a line out the door at 5:00 on a Monday.

Was very busy but the wait for a table outside was only 45 minutes on a Summer Tuesday night. There is a good selection of craft beers on tap which we indulged in while we waited for our table. Being the Lobster Trap, it was nice to see that the menu had the lobster prices listed and not the typical "mkt". The lobster roll at $25 was a very generous portion of meat lightly dressed with Mayo. You can also order it without dressing if you choose. The fried clams had very small bellies, bit were tasty. Both kids had the salmon one cooked very rare and the other cooked through. Both said it was perfect for their liking. Scenic views and a casual cape cod atmosphere. Did not order but saw the calamari appetizer which looked great. Wait staff was attentive. Great spot.

Fantastic food. Friendly staff. Great view. Nice portions. Great prices. Choice of music sucked. Average age in the place was 50 years old and they were playing acid rock music and I had the speaker right above my head
