(June 22, 2019, 2:12 am)A great dining experience. Wonderful food, unique atmosphere, attentive staff. The restaurant is in a sea captain's house (1698) and the tables are spread out in every nook and cranny allowing for an intimate setting in a sprawling building. Wonderful fresh local seafood as well as a sizeable "turf" side of the menu. My wife enjoyed local sea scallops, we shared delicious creamy lobster bisque, and lump crab cake. I had fantastic farm raised elk tenderloin in a win demi glaze .

We just ate at the bistro, where the menus is not only varied but also offers creative and interesting preparations. Service is excellent and staff are knowledgeable. We always look forward to eating at Chillingsworth when we are on the Cape!
