Clancy's Restaurant

A wonderful spot for a quaint cape lunch.
Clancy's is located right on the side of a lovely coastal river in scenic South Dennis Mass. Great fresh, well prepared food, priced reasonably, especially for the cape ! My biggest concern was the parking, which was very cramped, with narrow parking spaces....
Well worth a visit !!!

We had 2 great meals. Mussels steamed with a bit of sausage (might have been kebalsa). I got the veggie dinner with seared scallops. Yum! I think the menu has been revamped from years pasted when everything seemed to have included pasta and sauce. I like the flavor upgrade. And we saved room for Key Lime pie.

Loved it. Now one of our absolute favorites. We sat outside. 2 of us had the halibut special...excellent. The spouses had wonderful seafood sampler with lots of great items. Our server, Natalie, was terrific...well-informed, great sense of humor, very efficient. And those views of the Swan River!

We have been there many times. Their food is very good. My wife and I usually eat at the bar where the atmosphere is lively. Last night I had salmon and my wife had their haddock special. Both were superb. The bartenders always seem to have a good understanding of the menu and can answer questions about ingredients and preparation. Last night the bartender was Jackie, who had everybody laughing with her great sense of humor. It can get busy there in the summer, but well worth the wait if there is one.
