The Original Seafood Restaurant

Delicious , prices great, service is good, friendly atmosphere. Relaxed, yet great food. For a night of good food with out dressing up. I was working on my new house all day and didn’t eat. At about 7pm my stomach was screaming for food. Went here, went to the counter and gave my order. Given a number. Called my number soon enough. Onion rings are homemade and delicious. ????????????????????. Scallops are amazing. Loved the place.

Mostly fried seafood, but not greasy. Very popular place. Casual. Order at counter. Staff is very friendly.

I have been going to this place for years. I have NEVER had anything bad from this place. The kids love the chicken fingers and fries and I love the haddock plate. We love the onion strings. You can dine in or get take out. We are usually do take out. Everytime we order it's usually no longer than 10-20 min. Amazing food, quick, you can't get any better than this!

Food was good. Prices were reasonable. Only issue was we got there around 9:10 they said only Togo orders, which was fine. But we were waiting for my son to order and the one girl was very harsh and rude trying to rush us. She was in a hurry to clean and get out. Other girls were nice but you could tell she has worked there longer by the way she was talking to everyone and walking around miserable.

What a great surprise this place is considering how unassuming the restaurant looks from the outside. We thought this would be another greasy seafood place like Korean n Kone but it is much better! The fried scallops and fried clams with bellies were fried perfectly, not greasy at all and delicious. K n K upcharged clam orders by $2.50 but Original only charges $1.00 more for clams for the same plate and it tastes a lot better. K n K clams were tiny and tasteless. The fried haddock was the best we’ve had - fresh, flaky and perfectly light batter and fry. Clam chowder is not overly thickened with flour nor watery - it is just the right creamy consistency. Lots of locals eating here and not the ridiculous line in other places. Wish I found this place at the beginning of my vacation. They also have lobster rolls, broiled seafood, chicken and burgers if you’ve had enough seafood. Highly recommend.
