Woolfies Old Fashion Baking

Went last summer. Awesome muffins and pastries. Coffee was great too with good service and did well with the covid restrictions

I’m posting this after learning that one of my most favorite businesses is being targeted by fake 1-star reviews. I’ve been a loyal and satisfied customer for many years. Even though I am only able to get there every few years, somehow the staff still remembers me. That’s just one small testament to the attentiveness and care the team at Woolfie’s puts into their business. I am so happy to see the lines at Woolfie’s getting longer these past years because it means that my exceedingly positive opinion of their food, JMC!!, ambiance, and service is shared by more and more people. Their positive reputation is so well-deserved. And somehow, despite their ever-expanding popularity, the owners and staff are so kind and still manage to make you feel welcome, like family. Much continued and growing success to a truly magical, fantastic business!

This place is GOLD!!! Everything is freshly made that day and the staff works tirelessly to ensure the quality! I’ve never had a bad bite! The coffee is amazing. The homemade signs are quaint and give a real family feel. Hey have gone out of their way to make the customers and the staff feel safe and even have extra masks if you need it FREE. I wait all winter for them to open and they never disappoint.

I have read the negative reviews posted recently and have to wonder if the people actually went to Woolfies. I have been to Woolfies dozens of times and have never had an experience I would rate as anything but five star.

The staff is comprised mostly of high school and college kids who have always demonstrated the utmost kindness, professionalism, and respect, occasionally in the face of difficult customers.

There is signage at Woolfies and for those of you who take the time to read the signs, they all make sense and in many cases are required due to public health concerns. I chuckle at the comment about the signs being written by children. Would you prefer they be flashing neon signs. Perhaps this works wherever the complainer came from but it does not fit the character of this part of Dennis. And besides, the old, weathered sign that says "Woolfies" is part of the character of the place and I wouldn't want it any other way.

The food for me has always been top notch. They make all of their food fresh everyday. Their muffins and breakfast sandwiches are well known and highly rated and you don't need to look any further than the crowds that form every morning or the stacks of boxes at the coffee station waiting for pickup.

It is disappointing to me that people would treat these folks poorly. They work hard to produce great food and provide the best customer experience they can. My advice to these people is to go find a chain store and get your microwaved breakfast sandwich made from fake eggs and a muffin made from frozen muffin batter.

The crew at Woolfies is doing a fantastic job and I would not want them to change a thing!
