Stewart's Seafood Restaurant and Tavern

First time visit to Stewart's and we absolutely loved it!
We went on Saturday night at 7. There was a good mixed crowd. Several groups of eight or more.
The decor is fun and gives you that "Cape Cod" feeling.
Live music began shortly after we arrived and was a nice mix of Jazz and Blues. The volume was perfect for dining.

You have a few seating options: the outside patio, the first room with the bar and band and another area with a view of the open kitchen.

We live on the Cape and dine out weekly.

My wife, Dawn, ordered the Baked Scallops and I opted for the 19oz Rib Steak.
Dawn, whose go to dish is scallops, claimed they were sweet, tender and fresh, fresh, fresh!
I thought for sure the steak would have a bone in, but no sir. A nice well seasoned, boneless rib steak over an inch thick and grilled med rare to order. Served with red potatoes, grilled veg and big thick onion rings.
Honestly. it's the best steak I've had on the Cape or anywhere else in years!
We finished off with a decadent raspberry /chocolate dessert!
Presentation was very nice with our dishes and I also noticed tempting plates delivered to other tables.
The atmosphere fit us to a tee.
Prices are about average for The Cape, but we found both the portions and quality to far exceed most other establishments we have visited.
We're planning our next visit for Saturday Nite!

Nice people/ staff arrived there late and the kitchen was closed. But looking forward to having something there to eat at some point. Menu looked very very nice

The Grab Brothers Band did a great job in the bar area. Music was wonderful and the people were into it! Dancing and laughing. My waitress was wonderful and very accommodating. She had to ask "permission" for my order which was on the menu. The food was the reason for the 3 stars. Strawberry shortcake was served on those sponge cake rounds with frozen strawberries. The whip cream was fresh and so was the garnish. Did not order anything from the menu but dessert. Prices were standard to Cape summer season. Fish being primary. Go for the fun and friendly clientele and staff. Go for the music.

My weary family of five walked in about 20 minutes before closing. I asked the waiter if we could still order food. He perfectly responded with, “ you’re here. We’re going to feed you!”
I could have kissed him!
We ordered a bunch of things including the lamb lollipops, calamari appetizer, scallops, swordfish, pulled pork sliders, and plain pasta.
EVERYTHING was delicious! Even the three kids had NO complaints (which never happens!) Thank you for excellent food and service! Seal, our waiter, was great!
So great, in fact, that we honored him by blasting a couple of Seal songs in the car on our way back to Brewster.
