A mid to upper end Italian food establishment. The food was excellent as was the service. A fairly extensive list of wines available by the glass. Some custom cocktails as well although we did not try any of those. Portions were medium-to-large and bread with olive oil with herbs and spices was provided free of charge. Desserts were excellent and we tried the cannoli spumoni ice cream pie and a flourless torte. The only real complaint was most of the wines were low tier wines that retail for around 10 to $15 a bottle at a regular retailer. We do not know if there was a secondary reserve wine list that was not shown to us. Perhaps they had one with some mid-to-upper and wines on it as well.

Really great place. My wife and I say at the bar tonight and it was a great time. Very vibrant scene on a Tuesday night in the summer. We have the gnocchi as an app along with chowder and salad. Then two pastas. All was great. The fra diavlo spicy and everything rich. We will go back.

Excellent experience! The service, atmosphere and food were all very memorable. The menu was quite diverse with everything from traditional Italian and local seafood apps and entrees, to a wide selection of soup, salad and pasta. Very deep selection of wines by-the-glass and bottles from Italy and California. Would highly recommend the stuffed meatball and gnocchi appetizers, and the Veal Scaloppine and Seared Tuna entrees. We will definitely return to Bucatino!

We went for Mother's Day. 5 Adults and 2 kids. Really wonderful food and service. All the ladies received a red long stemmed rose whether a mom or not. The kids got a little restless during the meal, so we walked over to the lounge. The kids liked seeing the tables made out of barrels, the coffee table with the inlaid design work, and guessing whether or not the fireplace was real or fake. The staff and other patrons didn't seem to mind the kids. It was a great family day! Thank you!

Great food, great service! We arrived around 6 PM and were seated immediately. The restaurant was busy, but didn't appear overcrowded and rushed at all. We ordered the salmon and the steak tips & shrimp special--they were both very well prepared. The restaurant is larger than it looks like from outside. They were preparing for live music in the bar. Our server was great. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend. We also noticed that they offer an early bird special for only $18. We hope to try that soon.
