A true childhood ice cream memory that every single adult needs to bring their children/grandchildren to experience. The staff is perfection. The ice cream, the best, again perfection. The owner, the epitome of everything good with the world. Kind, fun, a true gentleman. Come once you'll be back over and over and over again. A+++++. Just on tvs channel 5 "Chronicle" last week as one of the best ice cream shops around. Treat yourself. You'll be so happy you did! ❤❤

I like the atmosphere of this place. It's especially great for families. If you want to get some ice cream and feel a nice, "cool" vibe, it's a good bet. Staff is nice and provides good service too.

The claim to fame is certainly the warm, in-house waffle cones. I love all the ice cream flavor options. Ice cream quality itself is fine, similar to a decent brand at a store.

I can't possibly give the place 5 stars because the price you pay for the portion you get is quite high. I paid $7.50 for a Mama Bear cone, no toppings. Contrast that with another ice cream trip during this vacation, in which I got the smallest available size, which was more ice cream and less than 1/2 the price.

If you want a good family atmosphere and the famous fresh-made waffle cone, you're in a good spot. If you're a budget or "value" shopper, you'll want to look elsewhere.

Edit: Good points made by the company in response to my review. The price and quantities may not have been great to me, but perhaps for the Cape they're decent. And I shouldn't say the ice cream is generic quality. It's not exceptional but certainly it's good.

Best ice cream around, ice cream served any way possible (great fresh waffle cones made to order). They have amazing customer service, and amazingly friendly staff. Great place to create childhood memories.

Great Ice-Cream, great staff, and a great environment! As someone who lives year round on the Cape this is the best ice cream shop in my opinion. The owner makes homemade waffle cones & bowls to order and they area MUST try. You can see how much he enjoys doing it, the happiness is contagious! Also, if there is a wait the shop is decorated in such a way you can look around it forever and enjoy it. If you are visiting Cape Cod and want to get Ice-Cream, Polar Caves is a must try!!

Great ice cream, lots of flavors and the best part is if you order a waffle bowl or cone it's made on the spot and fun to watch them quickly mold it and its served warm. Great combo of warm waffle cone and cold ice cream. The inside is small but covered w tons of coke memorabilia and coke bottles from around the world.
