Outstanding!! We were here last fall and back again this year. Late season hours are limited so plan your trip. We had scallop and clam plates that were so tasty and back again next day for take out lobster rolls lunch. Mayo not butter but hardly any there, just a roll heaped with lobster pieces, fr fries and slaw to the side. Sooo good
This is a completely authentic Cape Cod seafood shack. You need to bring CASH if you want to eat here. It’s a wonderful throwback, a local joint serving what looks like mostly local customers. Stay away if you can’t eat fried food, I think that’s all that is served. We had fish ‘n chips, fried clams dinner plate and the scallops plate. Served with slaw & fries. Don’t make the rookie mistake of eating too many fries. You’re going to leave full no matter what. Cap’t Cass is a 100% genuine experience. Pay in old school hard copy check or use cash. No plastic. BYOB.
This is a Cape Cod treasure. The staff is very friendly, as are the customers (many are regulars). We happened to stop by right before sunset and had a window seat with an incredible view of the sunset.
As for food, we ordered the seafood plate and wow, was it a lot of food. My wife and I split it and had plenty left over. Everything was fresh and delicious. We brought our own wine as they don’t serve any alcohol, but they were accommodating and even gave us cups for our wine. Great place to enjoy a Cape Cod evening.
Love eating here. You want a fried seafood roll? Better get ready to dig for it! That bun will be buried under a mountain. The fries are a trap. Yes they are good but they will weigh you down during your descent.
Most patrons despair and give up. Staring forlornly at all the food they are wasting because they filled up on the fries.
I dont recommend eating here before a long drive. Usually so stuffed you need a nap afterwards just to recover.
Amazing fried seafood spot. The platters are huge and everything is done well (try the fried scallops - they’re delicious). Fantastic service and cute decor to boot
