It's good eats. Even though it's an oxymoron, the fried avocado is really good. They serve chips and salsa like Italian restaurants serve bread. Also good. I got a vegetarian burrito and it was delicious. My wife got tacos and had a choice of three. She chose shrimp, beef and pork. According to her, the pork was the best. She ordered the sangria and thought it was great. I got a Sierra Nevada hazy little IPA. Really good ????. It's funny. We've lived here for about 5 years and this is our first time here. Our waitress was outstanding. Courteous and attentive.
Amazing food as always. Been here multiple times but the fish tacos were the best we’ve had thus far! Nice surprise to have BOGO tacos on taco Tuesday!! Margarita top notch as well.
Really fun atmosphere sitting out side on the porch or in the yard below. The menu is limited in comparison to the restaurant in Orleans. But they do have a good selection of apps and the tacos and burritos are so good! They also have seating around fire pits. The shack is near the bike path in Brewster, which is convenient if you're riding by and want a quick bite.
Had great expectations, but didn't deliver. Had a chicken taco, was loaded with meat. Would prefer cheese to be on top instead of the bottom, happy they use corn tortillas and they tasted fresh. House margarita was fair. I also prefer refried beans, not a big fan of plain black beans. Rice wasn't cooked all the way, so it kept getting stuck on my teeth. We were greeted by a smiling, friendly young lady. Cannot say the same of our server, all business, not conversational at all.
If you tire of the traditional Cape lobster rolls or fried clam platters, Guapo's offers a nice respite of solid Mexican food. I like the Mission style fish burrito or the fish tacos. Wish they offered grilled fish as a filling option but the fried (cod/halibut?) is light and tasty and holds up well with the sauce and shredded veggies.
The Orleans location is larger and a more typical restaurant. The Brewster location is smaller and more of a porch/deck hangout. Expect a wait for food and a table at dinner time in Brewster.
