This was an outstanding meal. All around great prices and beyond great service and presentation. Well priced tapas with beyond fantastic presentation and taste.
Incredible food and specialty drinks. Best grilled octopus and lamb chops I’ve had in a LONG time. Greek dips are wonderful and the specialty drinks are unique and tasty! An incredible variety to the menu. Bravo to the chef and staff! Amazing dinner! We will be back!
We had the pleasure of eating at Mezzeterrenean this weekend with a group of close friends. Due to our party size, the host held a beautiful table in a more private space with sweeping views of Proivincetown Harbor.
Pleasing vistas weren't limited to outside, the interior has had a major glow-up since last year (when it was a different restaurant.) I'd describe it as "Clean-Modern-Cape-Realness" - Ambiance was A++ and our alcove felt comfortable and not isolated.
We didn't just show up to hang out though, we were hungry (and thirsty!) The cocktail menu is unique but not pretentious. Flavors were a blend of sweets and savories which was very welcome. A procurement of less mainstream Greek liquor flavorings worked very well and added enticing depths of flavor.
Now about the food... Mezze is all sharing plates, which isn't something you often see in Provincetown. Couple things to note - there are an abundance of options on the menu and a wide variety of culinary preferences and restrictions can be both accommodated and delighted.
We ordered an assortment of plates at start knowing we had vegetarians, pescetarians, and red-meat-eaters in our group. The food showed up as it was ready in a steady stream of freshly prepared deliciousness. Mezze is "small plates" but the plates are not "small" - each dish is plated beautifully with 3-4 portions of featured item accompanied by a complementing sauce, salad, or both.
The service was top-notch, and with so many new plates arriving (and emptying), our table remained well managed in both organization and abundance.
We kept ordering food until we decided we'd had enough (another bonus of the small-plate model.) Everyone agreed we felt very satisfied but not uncomfortably stuffed and importantly ready to take on a little nightlife!
SO GOOD! I was blown away sharing plates with two other friends.
So, 6 of us had a great fortune of eating inside on a typical early summer cold, night in Ptown with Chef Brandon at the helm. We knew his work from Yokeria so we were pretty confident we would have an extremely good meal. Let it be said that Chef Brandon did not disappoint!!!! We absolutely loved the various lamb dishes we tried along with the toasted “pita” and sauces, Cauliflower fritters and all those clever cocktails!!! So fun the share there...Go, wine selection was also on point!!!
