Dunbar House Restaurant & Tea Room

This is my absolute favorite afternoon tea place. I appreciate the caution and time taken to make sure that every visit remains memorable. Their assortment of great teas that they sell is another good reason to visit. I'm a tea lover and this one is my little paradise. The staff is very attentive to detail and equally polite. And the scones with the jam and cream are delish...well, to be fair, everything is so out of this world. I'm sad that I now live a few thousand miles away, but every time I visit, this is a must go place for our family.

Beautiful...breath taking...romantic... pastoral...charming...classic ambience and superb food...used to visit Dunbar when it was a small tea and crumpet shop. Yummy and comfy.....newly renovated refurbished revitalized....best if old menu paired with new menu and then there is
DESSERT. A must visit in charming historic sandwich. Next time I'm starting with dessert. Trust me

This was the Best Restaurant EVER. They had healthy choices like Farmers Lunch, which is roast beef, bread, fruit, and healthy greens. This place is located on Water St. (Route MA 130) in Sandwich, right off of exit 2 from Route US-6. They had great service at a fraction of the price. It is very cool because it is in a Historical Property. I Highly reccomend this place. There is a eatry room, tea menu, and function room. The tea menu is A FULL PAGE long. They have a dessert table, best cake ever. Thank you to Dunbar House Restaurant & Tea Room!

My Daughter’s Bridal Shower was hosted at the Dunbar Tea Room. Congratulations and great thanks to Jim and all the wonderful staff who made it a very magical event!! Guests described the event as, “elegant, well done and nothing short of perfect!” The Room was beautiful! The food was beautifully presented and delicious, and the service was at it’s best!!

One of the premier tea houses of the world. Delightful in appearance and taste. Unique tea blends. Fine wine list. Outstanding, attentive service. No need to travel to London for a superb experience. Combine it with a visit to Heritage Garden in the morning and Sandwich Glass Museum in the afternoon.
