The restaurant is cute. The AC in the front was working and it was very comfortable by the bar. However where we were seated the AC was either not working or wasn't on and it was pretty muggy in there. The manager was helpful with the beer selection. IPA's not on tap. We had the meat lovers pizza. It was good but it didn't have all the flavor of wood fired pizza. If I was in the area I would give them another chance.
Very nice atmosphere. Very prompt and attentive service. I came in to this establishment on a whim around 1pm after waiting 10 minutes in another restaurant in town without being attended to.
For lunch I ordered clam chowder and a Reuben. The first thing I noticed was the chowder seemed fresh. Not from a can or previously frozen. It was delicious... easily one of the best I ever had. The Reuben seemed like it was put together with all fresh ingredients too & bonus points for marble rye. This is also the only place I can remember that offers ketchup with no HFCS.
It was still reasonably busy when I went in, and my server, soup and main course all arrived within about ten minutes. Oh, and the price’s were very reasonable. Great little spot and an easy review.
Great fresh food made from scratch in a really nice restaurant environment. The service is above par and so many good choices it's hard to choose a meal. Wish I could have tried it all. I had the elk burger with sweet potato fries, delicious!
Service was fantastic! Very eclectic menu, delicious food prepared to order and they can accommodate gluten free if needed. They had great desserts. Quaint and intimate atmosphere. Very enjoyable!
I would definitely recommend them! We had crab cakes, clam chowder, New York steak with mushrooms/potatoes and lobster roll. All I’ve it was delicious! Nice portions too. Also had bread pudding and white chocolate/ caramel cookie with vanilla ice cream. Great place to eat!
