If you enjoy red wine you are likely to be disappointed. I was-- tried several, then went with white. The food was DELICIOUS the service was friendly and welcoming. My friend said I didn't speak for a while, enjoying the flavors soaked in perfection. Make no mistake this is a gem of a restaurant.

This small, intimate restaurant, with a fire roaring, provided a warm atmosphere for a special birthday dinner. The menu provided a varied selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts, but the food was disappointing and the prices were high. Appetizers and desserts were all in the $10.00 range and most entrees were $30,00. The best part of the meal was dessert , a flourless hazelnut chocolate cake slice which was delicious but small. It takes a lot of driving to get to this out-of-the -way location., and the meal was a let down. The service was okay but lacked the attentiveness I have found at most of restaurants.

Really neat place just off of route 2 - a bit of a surprise to be honest. It looks like an old New England home both inside and out - really spectacular at night when the light are bright on the trees. Food is really great and pretty standard in terms of variety. Expect good food with some flair, but it is traditional and that part is apparent. Tried and trues, and so if that's what you're looking for this is your place. If you're looking for a more exciting modern place maybe look somewhere else. With that being said, I really like this place and think it's often over looked. Food comes out on little rolly-trays and all of that. It's a fun experience, and feels like you're in a different life.

had a great meal there celebrating my daughter's and my birthday. wait staff was super friendly to our kids and quality of food was great. had a good time there.
