Gedney Farm

Fabulous winemakers dinner and stay last weekend. What a magical place! Beautiful open fields all around me! Before the dinner I took a walk around the fields and saw the newly planted vegetable garden. What a relief to get out of Boston to this gorgeous place! There are walking trails nearby, which I will try on my next visit here. We Stayed in a Room that was gracious and peaceful in a unique renovated barn. Bed was so comfortable. Nice jacuzzi bathtub. The special event dinner with winemaker was delicious and really fun. From my room, I just walked across the courtyard to the main barn where the dinner was served , there were gorgeous fields and cool sculptures as far as I could see during the tasty cheese and charcuterie hors d’oevres part of the dinner. I met some really interesting and friendly people during that part of the dinner, and then sat down with my small group to enjoy the meal. Along with each wine , which was nicely paired with food, there was brief discussion about the wine which I found interesting. I can’t wait to go to the next event Gedney Farm is doing. I want to eat and drink outdoors at the outdoor bar by the fieldstone grill next time! What a special place and great food! I will definitely be back to Gedney Farm!

Another great night at this place. A CA vintner spoke about his wines and the food was great particularly the ravioli and short ribs. Loved it all.

I am a wedding photographer and had the pleasure of photographing at Gedney Farm twice this year! The entire venue is so lovely, welcoming, and absolutely stunning. Very nice location! I attended The Boondocks Film Society movie there. I wouldn't have know about it otherwise. It would be a nice destination for me one night for dinner. Glad to know of this place now

I love this place. I'm a wedding photographer and I'm lucky enough to get the opportunity to work at Gedney Farm a few times a year, and it's one of the best venues in the Berkshires. I've never stayed there so I can't comment on the rooms, but holy Mac the setting is incredible! And the staff is the right combination of professional and relaxed... exactly what someone planning a barn wedding in the country wants. The food is always top notch, and they are incredible at making sure the event is seamless for their guests. Did I mention the scenery?? A ceremony up on the knoll under a grand old tree, an intimate event in the courtyard between two rustic barns, or even in the beautiful loft on a rainy day... any way it's stunning!
