Great story about my first experience here. Was up in Brockton for a work training back in February and we got hit by a pretty serious snowstorm (~12" of snow). Didn't have to be on the office until later so decided to treat myself to breakfast and the ONLY place I could find open was Farmers Daughter. Drove my Jeep over there and ended up helping some folks who were stuck in the parking lot behind the building. Was one of the only folks in the restaurant and had delicious meal! The chicken and waffles Benedict was to die for! Awesome combination of flavors and a great atmosphere! Plus it was a huge plate of food, ended up going back this past week while I was back in the area and it was just as good!
    Highly recommend!!

Great concept, great food, great ingredients. Service was ok. The reason for a 4 instead of a 5 is the bar. They need a lot of help. Slightly above Luke warm coffee and espresso drinks. A normal latte comes with a teaspoon of straight cinnamon and a cinnamon rim. For me that ruins an otherwise nice latte. The bloody is good flavorwise but the chop on the peppers killed it. It either clogs the little straw or if you get a big straw, you get pepper in every sip. Either put it in a blender or do a large chop. This was the first time in my life I left without finishing a bloody.

Love this place! Great spot to take a friend or family member out for birthday breakfast. Food is local and seasonal, staff is incredibly kind, and the location is nice. Outdoor seating available, and lots of hot sauces also ????????????

    TL; DR
Go. Expect a wait. Know that it's worth it.

    The Review
Following a five-mile hike, I visited The Farmer's Daughter with a crew of about nine. There was an hour wait, which locals say is typical. We left our name and then walked another mile. When we returned, our tables were ready.

Our waiter was the charming Lorenzo. He told us about the day's specials, treated us with kindness, and did not flinch when one table asked for individual checks for each person. He was great.

I requested the Wicked Awesome Chicken Sandwich expecting it be more "okay" than "wicked awesome." Turns out it was aptly named and was, in fact, wicked awesome. I loved it, and it's rare that I love a restaurant sandwich.

The woman across from me ordered a Farm Burger, which she loved and which was served as ordered - medium. And come on, more often than not, "medium" ends up looking more like medium-well.

The young lady next to me ordered Tad's Chicken Salad and loved it.

The only downside - other than the wait, which we actually made the most of - was the noise level inside the restaurant. It was loud. But, given the quality of the food and the personality of our waiter, so be it.

Oh, and I did notice that people who were waiting for a table were allowed to go to the bar to grab a beer and then take it with them to the line outside to enjoy. That's also a plus.

Bottom line: if I lived near here, I'd be a regular, and if you're in the area, you should go to enjoy Farm-to-Table food, great local beer, a full bar, and solid service.

I love this place. I think we've had everything on the menu. Sometimes the server might forget to mention the specials, but ask about them. They're always good. A little pricey and the wait time can be ridiculous. I've waited 1+ hour for a table.
