Sweet Rose Cafe

I'm so happy to have a vegan/vegetarian restaurant in my home city. This is the first place of its kind. Everything is vegan by default, but vegetarians and non-plant-based folks can request traditional egg, and dairy cheese and milk if desired. I've had some family and friends visit, though, and they've all tried the vegan as-is options. Everyone has loved everything so far.

My favorites are the taco salad, Southwest breakfast wrap, and the lentil dahl soup, but everything is delicious! And it's so affordable. I'm used to spending all my eating out money in the vegan mecca that is Providence and the prices are a bit higher in Providence. I still support those small businesses regularly, but it's also nice to give your wallet a little break while eating delicious food and supporting a Fall River vegan-owned business.

Sweet Rose offers the vegan Just Egg in their breakfast options and it is, by far, prepared best here, in my opinion. It also isn't available anywhere else, so it's so nice to be able to go out for breakfast in my own backyard again! They have quite a few baked goods available daily, both gluten free and traditional, and they serve the best coffee on the planet; Jim's Organic.

Overall, I highly recommend this place. They seem to be quite popular, so it's not unusual to walk in to a mob of people getting food. The only downside is the place is small, so tables and parking can fill up fast at busy times, but the clientele and staff are always very friendly, and the place is always clean. I'd give more stars if I could. I'm just so glad they found their way to Fall River.

Divine
The food and service was spectacular. I recently switched to a vegan diet for health reasons. As part of this lifestyle change, I find myself no longer being able to grab a quick sandwich for lunch. Sweet Rose did not disappoint. I highly suggest the Chickpea Salad Panini with vegan cheese.

Visited for breakfast. Amazing vegan pastries and breakfast dishes. They also had eggs & cheese available for non-vegan guests.

Service was great and vibe inside was very inviting. Highly recommend.

Got 2 muffins and a coffee. Muffins were both DELICIOUS!! I can't speak enough about them. Good sized, perfect density, just yummy!! Can't wait to come back again!

The food is amazing! As a vegan of three years food is not only nutritional for the body but it can be an expression of art for everyone! With that said, the environment and presentation is well done! A definite recommend!
