Food is really good, like homecooking good. The quality of food is more than perfect for the price. I went with my boyfriend and the two of us got a big plate of meat and rice plus a vegetable bowl and paid $14. The environment is open and the staff nice. If anything, I would advise for labels on the food as I had no idea what foods were available on the counter. I know mostly locals visit the restaurant, but considering that it is a business and it needs to have everyone in consideration that is probably the only downfall I found, because I could have ordered something else besides pork, yellow rice and vegetables. Great besides that

This place is a wonderful, hidden gem. Beautifully renovated recently, the food was great and fresh. Try the Pernil, a delicious roasted pork. I found my new lunchtime spot, and there's a full bar for after hours drinks.

Great Spanish food right in New Bedford! Who knew? The beef with yellow rice is something nice. You won't be disappointed. Ask for extra sauce/ gravy for your plate because they give you a lot of rice. The plantains are also delicious and sweet. Plus they now have a bar where you can sit have a drink and watch the game! A hidden gem in New Bedford no doubt!!;

Great value and good food! They nicely remodeled and have a large dinning room now. They still have 5 dollar meals. You can beat it!
