Great local spot for fine beers and seafood. The bloody mary & clam chowder are both excellent.
I absolutely love this bar. True old school feel, awesome, comfortable, warm classic New England interior. My Bartender, Alexis was as equally warm and made me feel at home immediately. Excellent drink menu, beer selection, and the food was the star. So many great choices. I got some local super fresh Barnstable Harbor oysters to start and they were melt in your mouth amazing (2 for 1 at happy hour as well!!)... Got the Poor Man's Surf & Turf (1/4 lb delicious hot dog and a Stuffed Quahog) and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Glad I made the trip out and I will most DEFINITELY be back.
This place is fantastic. The food was scrumptious and the drinks were exactly what you would expect. The wait staff was attentive and so helpful in making decisions about what to eat & drink. This is one of the best places in New Bedford. Don’t miss out. Kitty and Alyssa were so helpful and were absolutely phenomenal. I will definitely be back soon!
super cozy spot for brunch or lunch. clean, bright by the window seats and cozy all around! i tried the stuffed scallop and it was delicious with scallop and shrimp and stuffing. we both got the giant lobster rolls which were huge. not a ton of flavor so be prepared to just add you own melted butter and salt or ask for mayo.
service was especially good. waitress was managing the bar as well and we were well attended too. very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. would happily come back!
The food was very tasty. I had the chowder and a stuffy to start. The chowder was nothing special but the stuffy was great. Then came the shark bites and the loaded sweet potato fries which were both very tasty and very filling. The price was not bad but not cheap. The service was great on a slow night. Will be going back to try the mussels (which the were out of)
