Dicky's Clam Shack

We were craving lobster rolls so we stopped in here. Lobster rolls were a good size, but a little on the expensive side. The kids enjoyed the outside area and picnic tables to run around. Definitely a nice option for a real lobster roll that's not in South county.

Seafood was as fresh as can be! Clams were lovely and tender. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. Ice cream was extra tasty on a hot summer's day! The shaded porch seating with fans overhead was a welcome respite from the heat.

Fish sandwich is great, I have had that several times in past visits.
Today I had the lobster roll (plate: came with fries and slaw) it was good but I like lobster salad roll. This was literally lobster in a toasted hotdog roll. The lobster was good. It was just too plain for me.

The seafood is outstanding! Perfect place to go on a summer night! Beautiful scenery in back where you can dine by the Palmer river. Just one negative is I felt their ice cream is not their strong suit.
