Dublin Rose Sports Pub

Came alone for a bite and to watch some sports. The young ladies at the bar were really nice and had great service. My food hit the spot. A nice crock of french onion soup served hot. A very generous reuben sandwich with a side cesar salad. Atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable.

We came here for Providence restaurant week, so the price was killer for what we got. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t great. I had an iced tea that was pretty much indistinguishable from water. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich and my girlfriend got a burger, and both were okay but the way her onions were cut was kind of laughable (I think they were supposed to be julienned but they were huge, like probably a 6th of an onion). We also got a cookie sundae which was actually really great. The real kicker though is that my girlfriend asked for a box, and when our server brought her the box, she took my girlfriend’s burger and threw it away ???? made for a good story though.

All of this was about $18, when it normally would have been over $35. I would definitely go back if it was that cheap every time, but I would be pretty upset if I got the same thing and had to pay full price. Definitely a good place to come to watch sports though, as there’s at least a dozen TVs.

This place is great. Unfortunately they changed their stuffed quahog recipe and got rid of their lamb lollipops. Otherwise this would be 5 stars.

So solid. Been going here for a few years and it is always a great experience. Staff is great. Draft list is always good and food is excellent. That pork chop and bacon risotto was killer. Thank you!

Very very good lunch. Stopped while on the road working and was so happy we did. The "chowdahhh" was out of this world. Piping hot, savory and fresh. Would highly recommend the Dublin Rose!
