Union Straw - Taunton

Food was ok. Nothing jumped out at me. My daughter and I had the chicken sandwiches. I did ask how it was prepared and it was mentioned that the chicken is pounded.

Unfortunately I don’t think they actually do so because our chicken was hard and somewhat dry. When in the bun the chicken breast took up only half to 2/3 of the bun. It would have been better to butterfly the chicken, pound it and overlap the pieces in the bun.

Tater tots were good and perfectly fried. Atmosphere is nice and staff was friendly.

Overall I paid $46 not including tip for 2 chicken sandwich’s, 2 waters and truffle tots. I might try them again someday but price/value/taste means it probably won’t be anytime soon.

Had a lovely time supporting our Veterans Services department here in Taunton. My burger was very good. Service was good and there a few things I look forward to trying the next time I stop in.

We went for a late lunch and Alex and Celina made our whole day! We had the Ahi Tuna Nachos and now we can never have regular nachos again! I had the Salmon and Grits special and my husband had the Burger special that had Mac and cheese and pulled chicken on it - amazing! We ended with the Cheesecake with Blueberry Compote and a nice single malt scotch! We will DEFINITELY be back!!! The service and food were absolutely amazing! THANK YOU!

I stopped in for dinner after work & was very satisfied w/ the dining experience. I ordered the Truffalo Cauliflower, Honey Lime Salmon w/ mashed potatoes & garlic green beans, & a Waffle Ice Cream Sandwich for dessert. Everything was delicious. The service staff was kind & attentive, & the restaurant atmosphere was relaxing. I appreciated how this restaurant allowed me to sit at a booth although I was dining alone. Would definitely recommend ❤️

Second time going! We went to the soft opening for dinner which was delicious. Went for Sunday brunch and also delicious. Hostess was super friendly as well as the wait staff. Ordered the Baked Muffin Skillet to share, Wards Peach Bellini and had the Biscuits & Gravy for my entree.
