Bittersweet Farm Restaurant and Tavern

Recently attended a wedding here and it was lovely --beautiful outdoor ceremony space, cocktail hour on the patio with delicious snacks and drinks, and then an indoor reception with dinner and dancing. Came a few minutes early and had a delicious watermelon sangria and two kinds of local oysters in the tavern. Great venue for an event like this!

My wife attended a bridal shower there and said it was very nice. However as a husband's were left out of the event we couldn't use the restaurant as the didn't open until after the party was over. So we had to entertain ourselves and go searching for another restaurant.

Visited Bittersweet for Mother’s Day, happy to say my family and I had a great time there. We gave our name to the hostess and within seconds the manager was seating us - no wait this time at all! The manager jack made sure to come back around & see that we were happy... he was also extremely helpful with my elderly mother too! Making sure she was comfortable where she was seated. The food was fantastic. Calamari was great & the bacon wrapped scallops are amazing there too! (That was just the apps) My plank salmon was cooked perfectly & my fiancé’s wrack of lambs looked & tasted even better! Another manager came by to deliver our cocktails & took the time while it was busy to talk weddings with us. Being newly engaged we had lots of questions as we consider Bittersweet to host our wedding and felt so at ease after speaking with Kayla! We will be back soon to tour with her! The rest of the staff was extremely friendly, our server (Katie maybe?) was the sweetest from start to finish... even the young girl clearing our table was always smiling. Very clean, beautiful place to be on a holiday. We spend many holidays at Bittersweet, gave it another chance after our family visited on Easter & we will surely be back! Glad to see you take feedback seriously! Highly recommend Bittersweet Farms!!
