Sharky's Cantina

Wow. Mexican in Martha’s Vineyard. Sharky’s Cantina was fun and the food was good. Now that some of the tourists have left the island (except us), the crowds have disappeared. The service was good but felt a little rushed. We like sit and enjoy the our company but the waiter kept bugging us. Other than that everything was excellent and will definitely be back next time we visit the island.

This place isn't only great as a restaurant, it has an arcade and is near a Stop and Shop and a liquor store. The theme of the sombrero shark is very fun. The kids get a paper to color in and the crayons come in a rubber shark's mouth. The menu has a wide variety as well. It is mostly Mexican food, as it is a cantina, but there a number of other well cooked and prepared meals as well. I had the sweet chili wings which have just the right amount of spice.

I dined here with my family last week. Not too bad of a wait and food is reasonably priced for a tourist area. The food or service aren't exceptionally great but we enjoyed our visit.

Great ambiance! We are vegetarian and when we ordered tacos and taco salad bowl the only veggies that made the base of those two items were zucchini. If they can add more veggies like onions, corn, etc. would be fantastic!

Good service huge portions. In general flavors were good. Kinda standard Mex but of notable exception was the housemade fresh hot sauce. Awesome! Nicely spicy and a little sweet. Habanero and pineapple blend was a great combo. It raised the otherwise average Mexican dishes.
