(January 13, 2019, 7:11 pm)Open year round, the Newes is just such a cozy spot, with a fireplace for those cold, snowy days. And the perfect meal? A bowl of their French Onion Soup - it really is the best one on island! Get the fried chicken if you're hungry - so delicious. Their specials are always great as well!

(September 26, 2018, 1:31 am)Great spot to have dinner. The Maple ale was great too. I had the fish and chips and it was great. We had about 10 people with us and they accommodated us very well. Granted we went on a Tuesday night so there's no telling if there's normally a wait on the weekends. Either way, great eats and I would suggest people to try it out.

(July 18, 2018, 1:46 am)We stopped here for lunch and my wife and I both had excellent salads. the garden salad was good but very basic while to the Caesar salad with chicken was more of a meal.
