Martha's Vineyard Chowder Company

We loved this place and, despite the many other options, made a repeat visit during our 3-day stay on the Vineyard. The Chowder was the best we have ever had, and everything else we tried was excellent as well (Scallops, Lobster roll, Caprese salad). Service was excellent. Our server, Bret, was really fantastic. Highly recommend!

Delicious. Hands down the best clam chowder on the island. Was in a rush for my ferry and still received impeccable service in record time. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. The impossible burger was also a contender at the table. :) Last meal on Martha's Vineyard before concluding my vacay.

The food was fine. I would go back for the clam chowder. It was the best clam chowder I have tasted. We had dinner there around 8:30 pm on a Saturday night and it was lively. The noise level is pretty high so it may be difficult to hear the people in your group. We had a group of 6. I couldn't hear my waiter over the noise when he stood at the other end of the table. If you are dining for 2 you should be fine having a close proximity conversation. Our waiter said live music starts at 10 pm upstairs on a saturday. So that will definitely add to the noise level.

I keep coming back here. I've been several times this summer. I always pop in late and they bring me all of the oysters and they are delicious! Their cocktails are tasty, their staff is friendly, and the chowder is great. Great for late night snacks of the gourmet variety.
