Had a delightful dinner on the patio. The Full Bay Salad was outstanding. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.
After visiting Martha's Vineyard more than a dozen times I felt compelled to try out the Black Dog Tavern. I went with a party of 4 late in the evening on a Saturday and was sat in the center of the restaurant near the kitchen. The interior has both a slight seaside and rustic feel though primarily rustic. Our waitress was unable to answer questions about some of the black dog products like the wine and BBQ sauce seen on the menu and made a few mistakes with the bill at the end but was otherwise pleasant. Food was prepared as described on the menu and was excellent. I am glad to have finally visited this location and would look forward to a future visit.
A Nantucket must visit. I mean, if you don't, did you even visit Nantucket? Standard Ameri-pub with their own twist. Great breakfast, good lunch and dinner. Was definitely a fan of the pulled pork. It's not a Cuban, so unsure why it's called that. However, the aioli on it is fantastic. Only complaint is there should be more! Take pride and don't ration it. Seasoning would have been on point if so. Nantucket prices though so be mindful. Very friendly staff.
The view is nice. Our waitress was nice and friendly. I got the fried oysters. It didn't include include a side. I believe the oysters were $24. The lobster roll with fries were $29. A bit overpriced in my opinion????????♀️. I give this place 4 stars because of the view. It's located right on the water.
Fantastic in every possible way. Even on a busy Friday night, the place is welcoming, the owner help greeting the clients, opening the fireplace for us& cleaning the tables (which is just amazing to see this in this days). The drinks/wine prices are very cheep(coming from NYC). The food was epic and the view is gorgeous. Desserts were absolutely delight. First and definitely not last time here.
