It is a very good sport bar with TV monitor on three side of the restaurant. It has $1 oysters time. I ordered the chicken wing, boneless rib, teriyaki beef with garlic noodles. They were very good. I also ordered the Thai drunken noodles. That was only OK. It did not have enough wok breath. Sho Yu also has Karaoke and live band on the weekend after 9:00 pm”

“My first time and it was a wonderful, upscale casual experience. There is plenty of parking. The barn style building is conducive to a laid back, friendly and fun atmosphere. There’s a huge menu. Burgers & wings are delicious. Bar makes delicious drinks. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable. Don’t make the mistake of thinking this is just an every day pub. They don’t miss a detail. The manager made a point to come over and introduce himself (thanks, John). He wanted to double check that everything had been on point. It was! The blondie brownie sundae was huge and is great to share. Looking forward to going back!”

“Convenient location on the Main Street Andover with street parking available. Outdoor and indoor seating available but it’s often busy. Visited here for breakfast and pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetarian, vegan options. Tried the vegan protein egg and cheese sandwich and it’s absolutely delicious. The flavor of the vegan protein was great combined with the egg and cheese on the bread is awesome. And another item egg and cheese on croissant was not bad. It would be better if they make it to order instead of just barely warming it up. Service was good and the staff were friendly.”

“This was our first time at Tokyo, and it was overall a great dining experience! We were first seated at a Hibachi table, but shortly before we orderd our food, requested to be seated in the quiet dining room as more people were being seated at our table. We were in the mood for a quiet conversation. We asked the host (a younger white male) if we could switch over to the dining area and he was actually quite rude with his reply. He gave us no direction in which table to sit at and seemed bothered by us making this request. After that though, everything went nicely. Our waitress was very nice, she asked if we were vegetarians after we placed our order to ensure that our food was cooked separately from meat dishes. We really appreciated this gesture! I ordered the Tofu and Vegetable entree, it was amazing! The tofu was a tad bit salty, but the veggies and fried rice were delicious! My husband got a few sushi rolls and he said it was some of the best he'd ever had. The rolls are a good ample size and filled nicely. We also liked the atmosphere of this restaurant. It was dark, cozy and very spacious. We can't wait for our next visit here!”

“This place is way better than I thought it would be. Lost my favorite Thai place in Andover so tried this place and it is really good. They do not know the meaning of the word bland, so much flavor. Took some home as my eyes were bigger than my stomach and it was just as good the next day! The menu is extensive (lunch has an abridged menu FYI). It was pretty quiet when I went but I went at a weird time (3pm). Will definitely go back. Decor could use some work to get a fifth star”
