Azorean Restaurant & Bar

Just wow! Service was excellent! Meal fantastic! Just the right blend of spices & garlic. Dunking bread in the sauces...man! I had the seafood plate with rice. We also sampled tapas cod fritters, grilled calamari & grilled shrimp. By far the best Portuguese ever!

Just fabulous!! Everything was good we started with the tapas tower, just unreal! The fish plates were all wonderful, we shared four different ones, all were excellent; can't remember the names.

My daughter and I were in Gloucester for a day at the beach and happened upon this place. We were so glad we did! After a horrible experience in another restaurant in town, we were thrilled to be greeted, seated and served in a remarkably short period of time. The restaurant is spotless and modern and the food was delicious. My daughter had the American burger with fries; it was huge and was very tasty. I had the eggplant lasagna and it was the best I've ever had. Our server (sadly did not get her name; she was a tall, young lady with curly blonde hair.) was very friendly, helpful and attentive. We don't have to search for a place to eat anymore when we go to the beach. We will make a beeline for the Azorean.

Stopped by here for lunch today and my wife and I were highly impressed by the quick and super friendly service. Jesse the Manager and Patricia our incredibly awesome server took extremely good care of us. I had an overwhelmingly great seafood stew and my wife had baked haddock that were both top notch. I highly recommend Azorean for great service and cuisine.

We recently had a small graduation party at the Azorean for approximately 30 people. The manager - Jesse and the head chef Manny could not have been more accommodating. They certainly went above and beyond with a specially printed design menu plus a wonderful selection with salad and tapas. The bartender and waitress were extremely helpful, especially for several guests that needed a special meal. We would highly recommend this restaurant over and over again.
