Good service, nice atmosphere and a list of burgers I'll likely never finish

Nice local place that locals go to. Very reasonable prices and friendly service.

Great menu, and if you love burgers- this is the place for you. I've tried about half of the 97 different choices and have yet to be disappointed.

The bar side can get a little loud when it's busy, but they also have booths in a separate dinning area on the other side.

Don't expect a fancy interior. Huge horseshoe bar on one side with booths on the other and wood paneled walls with carpet inside. That said, they have awesome burgers and recently add a number of grilled chicken sandwiches to the menu. Many people get their pizza and I recently had their steak tips which were well seasoned and cooked perfectly medium rare. Love the multiple Ipswich Brewery options on tap,especially at 22 ounce pours. It didn't get a full 5 star rating as I feel a few improvements would make this place phenomenal. 1.) They use frozen fries. It's not expensive to make hand cut fries and it would make a HUGE difference. 2.) Same with their chicken fingers. If they made fresh versus frozen it would be huge.

The service is excellent and the value is great. Highly recommend Pub 97 to all!
