After living in Texas for a few years and coming back up north, it is really nice to have an authentic Texan restaurant local to me. It is totally worth the visit, and is by far the best food in Haverhill!! If you are looking for REAL southern comfort food, this is the place to go!!!
"Come and Get it" Haverhills newest place to dine! Great menu with lots to choose from. From the moment you walk in the front door till the moment you leave it's a great experience. The homemade chips and queso and the sausage apps were definitely a must try. The portions are huge and priced right! Enjoy!
I live right next door so I may be a bit biased. But I’m from TX so I rate tough for places that claim TX fare.
Love what they did to the dumpy dive bar that preceded it. Beautiful granite bar & a comfortable, tasteful dining area, small patio for the short outdoor dining season. Single TV at the bar & music playing.
Well thought out selection of southern fare, from wonderful fried dishes to BBQ to original mash-ups.
I’ve tried 6 things on the menu & really enjoyed everything. Service is good & the husband & wife owners are gracious hosts. Good cocktails & limited selection of craft beer too. Excellent value for the prices as well.
Fabulous addition to the neighborhood & glad to support this place.
The service and food were fantastic! We were seated outside on a beautiful day and totally enjoyed the experience. We had the grilled chicken and fish tacos with a ceviche appetizer, flavors were perfect. Wife and I will definitely return and would suggest anyone else give this place a try, definitely worth the visit
Excellent southern food and properly smoked meats. Better than most I've had even much further south. I had the chicken fried chicken with collard greens and mashed potatoes. Everything was amazing, and more than enough portion. I tried a little of the smoked BBQ plate also and it had the dark smoke layer it should, and not drowned in sweet sauce like so many imitations. G's is definitely on my list if I'm visiting the area again.
