My son and daughter love this place to eat

The owners were wonderful when we dealt with them briefly, the 2 young women serving last Friday night were a 1/5 stars. We sat (where the server/hostess brought us and walked away saying nothing)for almost 20 minutes before getting our drink order taken until one came by and said "oh, haha, she always forgets" and then still walked away from us. It wasnt that busy as far as people in the place, maybe there was a lot of to-go orders? 1 drink came right away,the other 2 drinks came out well after 2 of the 3 meals were served. The 3rd meal didnt come until 2 of us were at least half way though our meals. Just awkward all around. Waited for the bill and just ended up going up to the register to ask for it. I tipped of course because I'm not classless. But it wasn't deserved. Food was alright. Honestly because the owners we're so sweet and friendly I might try it again, but it will be take out. Between the servers and the annoying woman 2 tables away yelling and swearing, talking about inappropriate things I probably will never go in for a sit down meal.

The Golden House Restaurant is another longtime family favorite. Family owned and operated the decor is nothing fancy. But the food is delicious, portions are large, the prices are low, and there's always fast and friendly service. Eat in or take out. Take yourself and your family there on a quiet Thursday night.

I have never had a bad meal here. The food is always fresh and tasty. The prices are very reasonable and there are many delicious choices. I love that there is a large selection of combination plates available at both lunch and dinner. The wait staff are friendly and helpful. The owner is very friendly and welcoming to his customers.
