Tropical Restaurant

Delicious food, haven't had a good Dominican meal since I moved to Revere. I was satisfied!

Food always good. I eat there at least 2 or 3 times a week.

I absolutely love this place. The food is stupendous and they serve large quantities of food for a very reasonable price. I recommend this place very much for dining in and take out as well. I have ordered just about everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed.

I wanted a small portion to go. I spoke English at first and the lady disappeared. The owner (?) came back and we spoke in English. I never saw a menu or prices. He sold me a box of to go that he let me customize a bit. The pork I got was sublime although I got too much fat for my taste, but it was all very well cooked. I got rice with beans, a piece of yucca and mashed plantains for just under $10 Inc tax. I was able to pay my credit card and they gave me a bag & utensils. I wish they had not stereotyped me as white though, it would have made my day to order in Spanish like the young Dominicans in the restaurant. The sit down area is very nice for a buffet place.
