Salty's Lobster Shack

I like this restaurant! They give superb meals, their menu is large, The chief cook in that spot is very experienced, I love a lot eating all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the guests is helpful. I often go to this place and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Cold lobster roll was good, but was overall a little too moist. I’m not sure if the meat is frozen or there is residual moisture from how they store it or something in their Mayo mix, but the bun drips the entire time you’re eating it. Great size and portion and the seasoning was spot on - scallions were a nice touch.

Seafood chowder was awesome! Chock full of all kinds of seafood.

Ordered a large wedges, I wouldn’t say they are traditional wedges and more like V-shaped steak fries. So less potato than expected from a true potato wedge. Also very pricey for potatoes, I paid as much for my seafood chowder as I did for the potatoes.

I've driven by enough times on my way to Market Basket that I finally had to stop for dinner with my wife. We ordered the hot lobster rolls and they were DELICIOUS! The lobster meat was so tender and the roll was piled high with it. They did not skimp on the portion we each had. I would definitely recommend that you stop here for a quick but satisfying bite of seafood.

Delicious lobster roll!! I heard great things about this spot and wasn't disappointed. Ample portion of lobster in a toasted bun. You choose hot or cold. I don't think you could go wrong with either one. Enjoy!

Tonight was our third visit, and it was unplanned. I thought they would have been closed by the time we got out but the "open" sign was still up. We pulled up and the crew was ready to take our order by the time we got to the window. My wife had her usual hot lobster roll which was spot-on as always. I like to try something different when I can, so ordered the lobster tots. Think loaded nachos, but with tater tots and lobster instead of chips and ground beef. Loved every bite! Leland and crew are serving up good food for a great value in a setting with a classic New England vibe. Highly recommended!
