Attended a bridal shower here. Salad and cheese/cracker plate was good. Ordered haddock with rice and green beans. Rice and fish was dry. Green beans were good. Service was top notch, however.
Great local place to grab food, especially when you're looking for something simple, tried and true (at least that's what I think). Landed there on "1/2 price wing Wednesday". Cool building. Got the classic buffalo wings (all drums, extra crispy) with a side of onion straws...and was not disappointed. The wings came out perfectly crispy, and the side of onion straws (rings) was HUGE. Glad I stopped by, and will remember for future visits.
On my first visit here I had the Reuben (13.99). "Traditional Rueben with corned beef, sauerkraut, Mad Russian dressing and melted Swiss on grilled marble rye". The French Fries were exceptionally good. Barely crisped up and fluffy on the inside. The Reuben had thinly sliced corned beef, but it was from the brisket and it was tasty. The bread was toasted enough to melt the cheese but not enough to warm up the corned beef. The sauerkraut was tasty, but there was hardly any present. With triple the sauerkraut and adding dressing this could have been an excellent Reuben. It was still a decent Reuben especially after getting extra dressing.
