My greatest compliment for any restaurant is to say, "I'll be back." Delicious foods, great wine list. My compliments to the chef.

I waited at the bar for my friends to arrive, and received very bad service there. I sat for a very long time without being acknowledged while the only bartender waited on several customers who were eating at the bar. I finally caught his eye to ask for a drinks menu then watched him serve the waiters at the service bar instead of passing me a menu. After a while I asked the barback, who kindly gave me a drinks menu. When I finally ordered one glass of champagne, the bartender served 2 more orders at the service bar, took another food order for customers, then asked the people next to me if he could get them anything else - all before he poured my drink. I was there for 25 minutes before I had a drink in front of me. There was no manager in sight to step in and help the bartender, who was clearly in over his head The restaurant wasn't busy. The bartender was just very disorganised flitting between people and achieving very little. The customers to my right were also frustrated by not being able to get their drinks. I think that if a restaurant is going to serve food at the bar, there should be more staff behind the bar to provide adequate service, especially when the only bartender is inefficient. When my friends arrived, we sat at our table and had great service and food. I was impressed by the creativity of the dishes, and they tasted great.

Great experience at Alto Forno Sunday night. Alex took great care of us all night. Food and service were exceptional. Not your average swordfish steak that's for sure!

Good food, service could've been better. Waited forever for the check and there was a mix up with how the food was cooked. Bar was super loud. Constantly heard glasses clamoring while my guest and I were trying to enjoy our food in the dining area.

An excellent spot for a great meal- fresh, hot and full of flavor. The carbonara is out of this world! Sit at the bar and enjoy a glass of wine or one of their inventive cocktails with your meal.
