Red's Kitchen and Tavern

Met a friend here for breaskfast with my 8 month old and it was great! Hadn't been here for breakfast before but the menu was huge and had a great variety. The server was great answering my questions about certain menu items. Ordered the everything omelet and fresh fruit bowl to share with my baby and it was all delicious. My friend got a Belgian waffle with strawberries and a breakfast sandwich and she said it was all great too. Food was a generous portion for the price in my opinion.

Great place! Very easy to find parking and the seats were very comfortable. Three bar was a great place to get a quick bite. We sat very quickly and service was outstanding. Breakfast was cooked perfect. This place is on my map to visit again

Despite the looks of the place that promises exquisite food, you'll quickly find out that a lot of it is from tins or frozen, rather than from genuinely fresh ingredients.
This is a shame, as they have genuinely interesting items on the menu, but the result is rather mediocre. Not bad, but also not what you expect when you see the place and the menu.
Very much a lost opportunity here, since this menu in the hands of a skilled cook that works with fresh ingredients would be outstanding in my opinion.

Always a great meal here. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Desserts are large and sinfully good. (Beware many calories) They also offer $1.00 oysters as a special and have a full up scale bar. Great reasonable place to take the whole family.
