This is a pretty good sandwich shop. The honey comb sandwich is pretty good! Staff is pretty friendly. Prices are what you'd expect for a joint like this. Not too pricey! Good food, good times.
Ordered Beehive Pizza and Parmesan Garlic crispy chicken macaroni and cheese. Food was hot and delicious. Loved the Honey BBQ sauce on the pizza. Portion size was good to share and pizza had just the right amount of topping.
So I've ordered take out from here before, but decided to have a sit-down meal today.
I can speak of three meals I've had thus far. Today was a special, a turkey club sandwich on a sub roll, $6. It was magnificent! Hearty meal, bacon was delicious and crispy (how I like my bacon). I haven't eaten all day and this left me feeling very satisfied. They offer different types of Turkey, I had chosen smoked for my sub.
With a previous order, I had ordered the 'Kitchen Sink' fries and the 'Dirty Watah Melt' sammy sandwich. The Kitchen sink is fries soaked in BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, scallions, and chicken fingers mixed in. OMG it is a meal unto it's own. It was delicious. I wasn't able to eat the Dirty Watah Melt until the next day. I wasn't expecting much since it wasn't fresh (roast beef sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cole slaw, and thousands island dressing). It was very good. Although there was a tendon/ligament in the slices of meat which made it a little difficult and un-enjoyable.
This establishment has a very big menu which is a little overwhelming, I think of Gordon Ramsay's point on not having a complex menu. It may seem like a large selection to me, because these are not your standard fare mom-and-pop sub shop menu items. That's what also makes me excited about this place because of all the unique items with a specific Massachusetts theme (Pedro 45 Melt, Flying Orr Melt, the Damon Melt)which reminds me of a North Shore version of 'Bob's Burgers.'
The staff are very pleasant, there's one gentleman who's kind of a goofball, he made the atmosphere fun and welcoming. The shop reminds me of the old joints in Lynn with piles of Pizza boxes in the seating area. The kitchen was kinda overflowing with all the baked goods they were making (s'mores cookies anyone!) This place is geared more towards take out and delivery than dine in. Worth ordering from if you don't wanna sit down dinner.
