Rockafellas

Restaurant

“We loved this restaurant! The decor is very casual and very comfortable. We were visiting Salem and had our eye on this restaurant since we read it was potentially haunted! Our waitress was very kind and gave us a brief history of the building. The cocktails were delicious and spooky themed. As the restaurant was closing, our lovely waitress offered to take us upstairs to see the old church portion of the place which was now converted to an event space. Our experience was amazing and we will definitely be returning here on our next trip to Salem!”

Bistro118

“Randomly ended up at Bistro118 based on the fact it seemed to be the only place playing good music. the line was super quick ($10 cover to get in apparently scared most away) and drinks were fairly priced (i'm from NY so i always expect places to be expensive). the atmosphere and crowd were great and we had a great time. Great stop for my first trip to Salem!”

“The staff is extremely friendly. I ordered grade leaves and didn’t specify that I was vegan, and after they were brought out the cook asked me if I was vegan and mentioned that he made them with feta and remade them for me, which I really appreciate that he made the effort to ask. The grape leaves were delicious! Atmosphere is really nice as well. Definitely recommend.”

Flying Saucer Pizza Company

Address: 118 Washington St, Salem, MA 01970, USA

Restaurant

“On the one hand this place is in a convenient location downtown and has a pretty good atmosphere with lots of fun nerd stuff to look at. On the other, it's Chuck E Cheese level pizza and the service is lacking. Maybe if you order one of their specialty pizzas, the toppings might hide the fact that it's on cardboard (so to speak). If you want a friendly and attentive server though you might have to try a completely different restaurant based on our observations.”

Fountain place restaurant

Address: 232 Essex St, Salem, MA 01970, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Fantastic service! Amazing food and atmosphere. The woman who served us was a total sweetheart. Needless to say we left a good tip. Great lunch choice for those wandering around Salem's shops. Highly recommended.”

Gulu-Gulu Cafe

Address: 247 Essex St, Salem, MA 01970, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I was already impressed by the incredible atmosphere when I walked in! I ordered a small latte with soy milk. I made it with pistachio flavor because I'm weird but it surprisingly was a great choice! The only gripe I had was that they did not have green to go cups and only two choices of plant-based milks. I would love to see oat milk or, better yet, hemp milk since it's so much better and hardly any cafes have it yet if they are looking to stand out to their local and visiting vegans!????”

Opus

Address: 87 Washington St, Salem, MA 01970, USA

Restaurant

“Disclaimer: only went for cocktails. The cocktail list was extensive, and filled with plenty of twists on classic prohibition era cocktails. Our bartender expertly crafted our drinks, and they were quite good. However I did not think they were quite up to par with the price per drink”

Mr. Crepe

Address: 83 Washington St, Salem, MA 01970, USA

Restaurant Cafe

“One of the best crepe places I have been to. They have amazing team! All ppl are so lovely, friendly and everyone cares about you. Their food is super yummy! All portions are huge. Price: a regular crepe is about $8-9, a special one - $11.50. I had a special one with a Salmon and a friend of mine got a chicken one with pesto sous. Both were delicious????????????Late is about $4. Hazelnut latte and the raspberry one tastes fantastic ????All soups made with dairy. They DO HAVE vegetarian options as well. Space is clean, they have outlets so you can charge your phone. One huge restroom with a baby-changing table inside is there too.”

Address: 281 Essex St, Salem, MA 01970, USA

Restaurant

“Going to sound cheesy, but decided to stop here after a long, hard day at work, got myself an Elvis Alive smoothie and honestly felt alive after drinking it. Environment is comfy inside. Employees are super nice! Got myself an Iced Spearmint Matcha on my way out, pretty tasty drink bad well.”

Koto Grill & Sushi

Address: 90 Washington St, Salem, MA 01970, USA

“On a weekend getaway with a friend, we went to visit Salem MA. On our last day there, we stopped in at Koto Grill and Sushi for dinner. They had a live band which we didn't stay for. We ordered a California roll, Crab Rangoon, fried chicken wings ( Totally Yummy ) and Kim Chi Soup. All of these items were DELICIOUS! They also serve Mead there, which is a drink made from fermented fruits a little alcohol and honey. It was the first time I ever had Mead and it was fabulous! If you go to Salem, I think its a nice place stop by and eat! No pictures this time, sorry. But if my friend has any I will post them.”

Bit Bar Salem

Address: 50 St Peter St, Salem, MA 01970, USA

Restaurant

“Delicious food, great service, cool atmosphere. This was a great find off the beaten path of Salem. I never would have guessed that an arcade/bar would have the best gluten free fried chicken tenders, but they do! Staff was super friendly, attentive, and service was quick. Definitely would eat here again if we're in the area.”

DrinkStir

Address: 99 North St, Salem, MA 01970, USA

Restaurant

“Could not recommend this place more!! Their drinks are amazing and there is so many options! Their tapioca pearls are actually always super good. Everyone is always super kind and their service is fairly quick, considering it is a small place. Their food AND their pricing overall is phenomenal! Even the small sizes to their food is actually a large portion. It’s my family and I’s go to spot, we literally walk a half an hour just to go here all the time.”
