“Salisbury beach was in need of a tacos & tequila restaurant, and Sin-a-loa exceeded all expectations. Delicious chicken soft tacos with avocados & sour cream that melt in your mouth complimented by a delicious margerita are all you need to satisfy your mexican food cravings. The service is prompt and courteous and the owner even stops by your table to strike up a conversation. Couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming environment. “I LOVE this place but today I waited 10 minutes at the door while several staff milled about inside. At some point someone called to me to say someone would be with me shortly— no one did— so I took a seat. Another few minutes went by and a guy on a bike pulled up to the door and was served right away. I got up and went to the door and the person who took his order looked at me and went back inside. Then I could hear her having a dialog about the mysterious inventory of muffins. I get it, it sounded like a weird situation, but I had been waiting there for so long already! She did not come back, so I left. I was pretty disappointed because I drove 20 minutes to get there and was looking forward to what is usually a fantastic cup of coffee by the ocean. You can do better!!”

“Great venue in many ways. Parking is easy, the people were super nice. They help you find your table and seat. The ocean view is stunning. The stage is large and it was easy to see from the back where we sat. The only problem was the sound quality. It was past the system's distortion point. So in other words, louder than good. The treble was weak, mostly bass and upper mid range. Sounded flat. It just sort of blared out at you. Folks at my table who had been there often say it is the same at every show. Shame.”

“My favorite pizza place for the past 27 years! I have been driving down for a slice (ok tray of 20) since I was in high school after trying them when in the area once. It started as a joke to friends that I would drive 2 hours round trip for pizza until they slowly started to make the trip with me. Eventually I was hearing about other friends who would also make a road trip on the weekends. Guys behind the counter know me as "the guy from Maine" who stops by year round. I have tried every other pizza in the square and Christys is hands down the very best. Very unique with the option of getting a round slice of Provolone on the top (recommended) of each slice. I get a tray of 20 slices which come in 3 boxes so you can feast on site and have plenty to bring back home. Service is always spot on and its a great atmosphere with the square and plenty places to sit and relax. This will always be my go to place for pizza!”

“The food was good. The hostess was very pleasant. But the presentation was lacking. We needed guidance on how to serve ourselves and what was available. Now I've had this experience before in NYC at Hill Country Barbecue - but one expects such in NYC. And we had a waitress seat us and advise us. And the food made up for it. Here the food was more than acceptable, but the server sliced and filled our trays with meats without asking what we wanted. We had to ask what we were being served and what else was available. I hope the owners read this and learn. The food was good enough for them to stick around. Newburyport needs a good barbecue joint. Would make a great last stop for those with munchies after a night on town.”

“Great hot and cold sandwiches and take out items such as salads meatballs chicken cutlets. I often have the Johnny Sweets which is prosciutto mozzarella olive oil basil on a fresh baguette. Or the chicken salad with apple and grapes is delicious enough to eat on its own. In addition there is a great selection of steak tips and chicken with a variety of marinades. You can get wine beer cheese crackers chips and other items. This is a great stop on the way to your beach house before a weekend BBQ or even all year round to grab lunch on the go or dinner items for a cold winter night.”
