    Excellent dinners. Portions are decent size to have leftovers which is always good. Did take out so can't describe the inside so much.

    My favorite restaurant of all time!! Going to Mel's is like coming home and eating your Grandmother's homemade spaghetti sauce. Great food, great friendly service. Dont leave without trying the meat sauce.

    Another staple of Holyoke, Mel's offers up old world style Italian food that will probably bring back memories of your grandma. The restaurant itself is a little dated, but at this point it simply adds to its charm. There is a dining area, lounge area with a bar and a pickup window for to-go orders. I have only picked up orders from their pickup window, which has its own entrance on the left side of the building. We enjoy their meatballs and spaghetti sauce with meat very much, meatballs are large and only $1.50 each. At this point, for my family, Mel's has become comfort food.
