Zanto Southwick

First time here and the food and service was excellent!

One of my favorite stops in the Agawam/Southwick area. A huge menu and everything I have sampled has been great from southwestern salad to the pizza to the meatballs. Their signature pizzas just hit the nail on the head with the toppings game if that is what you are into; our family favorite is the Karma with sausage added. Visited during their Greek night recently and all of the food was excellent (braised lamb, chicken with veggies, tzatziki sauce, moussaka). One of those places that feels like home cooking in a laid-back, welcoming family atmosphere.

Great service and what a great sandwich I had. Turkey, Cranberry and stuffing on wheat bread, served with French fries and a pasta salad. Excellent!!

This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside. It's in a strip plaza. The decor, mostly simulated wood grains, subdued lighting and tasteful photos on the walls suggests "better than average diner.". The food though is some of the best I've had anywhere in New England, New York, Pennsylvania , DC, Phoenix or LA. Most people will call Zanto's cuisine Italian. The owners are Greek. It's best to call this cuisine Mediterranean. It doesn't matter what you order; it will be good. If you can get here on one of their "Greek nights" (Initially Saturdays through mid-November 2017; they're back again this Fall on Saturdays through December 1), your meal will be memorable. The spicing in their beef & lamb dishes is simply an explosion of flavors in your mouth. The grilled octopus is amazing! Eat here. Your taste buds will thank you!

Zantos is a great restaurant. I go for lunch and the service is wonderful. It's comfortable seating and not noisy at all, a great place to visit with friends and family. The food is always good. Great pizza. Love the chicken tarragon sandwich.
