Luxe Burger Bar

This place is pretty interesting, as the building looks like it was a refurbished industrial building and is very open inside. Saw this place from the road and decided to stop since we were leaving the expo fair grounds. I liked the way you order burgers, there is a paper with a checklist that you pick how you want your burger. It takes all the questions out of ordering. The burger I got was delicious!

The reason for 3 stars vs 5 stars are important issues but very fixable. It was a thursday around 1pm and there was only 1 person taking care of the whole floor, so service was very slow. but its the fault of whoever scheduled people. So that is minus 1 star. Most importantly, the standard burger bun (sesame) pretty much disintegrated as soon as I started eating it and that frustrated me because it tasted so darn good.

Other than that, I can tell that this is a place that a lot of people would like to eat at and that the issues mentioned above only show up on occasion.

Love the idea of making your own burger. From selecting the type of meat to all the toppings. My favorite is the cheese tots! I just had to add that the Almond Joy Shake was amazing! The toasted coconut on top made this shake extra special!

Good Vegan Burger. I'm happy they had the vegan patty clearly marked, but I wish they had done the same for other vegan menu items. It was pretty good. Chipotle ketchup is vegan a well as the whole wheat bun. All fried items share a fryer.

They are great; a choice for everyone. Great selection of beer- including my Shandy wheat Harpoon! They don't have mic Ultra, but you can always replace it with Coors Light; same water. I like the BYOB (build you own burger) option, it actually doesn't have to be a burger, they offer grilled chicken also. Always used bar service, and bartenders have always been great. Quiet atmosphere, elegant ambience.

I went here the other day and it has some pros and cons. A few of the cons were the service was slow even though there was only one other table in the restaurant. The service can be forgiven because there was only one waitress on staff. Who was working the front, waiting tables, and busing empty tables. There was dust on the marble counter that divided the restaurant. And finally the servings of sides are rather small. I had gotten some fries and I received only a tiny bowl to go with my meal. However, I found that the food was very delicious and I would highly recommend others visit the place. The idea behind being able to customize your own burger and sides like they do is a great. And is something I have never before seen.
