Solmar Restaurant

The food was good. The place was empty though, we walked in and didn't even know if they were open. The kale soup was not what I was used too. Being from Eastern Mass, our Kale Soup is regular broth with meat, kale pieces, and veggies...and the Kale Soup here was a thick potato base like chowder and just kale shreds. It was "ok" but that's just my preference. The Alentejana was good.

Attended fundraiser in dining room area. The group was pleasantly surprised to learn that Solar not only donated their dining area to the cause but also a dinner buffet for guests attending the event. What a generous surprise ... Food was excellent & server was awesome!

Always a good crowd, great drink prices and above average food menu with excellent Portuguese cuisine

Went here for the first time for drinks. Ended up having dinner at the bar. Good food.

Great food, inexpensive drinks and friendly staff make for a fine experience whether dining, drinking or both. Pool, darts, and lottery are all fun and there's some leagues out of the bar. Small covered outdoor area for smoking is nice when it rains.
