Some of the best FOOD I’ve ever had, not just Cajun food.
Went with my fiance today for lunch, Everything was fantastic. initially drawn in by a side of mini cornbreads, I got the knocked up steak sandwich and it left nothing to be desired. The meat was cooked beautifully and the fondue sauce put it over the edge. The cornbread was everything I had been hoping for and more. Great food and a full portion for the price, but perhaps best of all was the friendly staff, including Chef Wayne himself who took the effort required to make sure all of the patrons were in a good mood regardless of dining in or ordering to go.
Great f-ing food. I ordered through the phone. I ordered the mix veggies with sweet potato fries and grilled salmon for my wife. Its good. I tried a bite of everything and I started to ?. Lol Should've bought a plate for myself. Lol The service was phenomenal. I recommend this place to everyone who wants "good food" none if that Mcds or BK or etc.lol Thank you Chef Ivan for you work. I will surely order again soon.
I had to go to Springfield yesterday (I live in the Amherst area) and decided to bring home dinner from Chef Wayne's Big Mamou on the Go.
How do I rate it better than 5! Not only was the food outstanding, but it turned another boring night, shut in at home, into a very special occasion.
Wine in crystal glasses, best china, cloth napkins, candles lit. No doubt about it though, the food made the night. Plus it was very inexpensive (Less than $25. for us both). It is also great knowing you are supporting a small local restaurant to survive during these terrible times. It doesn't get any better!
This little place is kind of like a permanent food truck out in the parking lot of the 350 Complex. Chef Wayne was on hand for opening day, smoothing out wrinkles and shaking hands. My food was great and it's quick and convenient compared to driving anyplace. Hope it is a great success!
