Pretty good! We tried all-you-can-eat BBQ. Both meat and vegetables are really good quality. The pre-seasoned meat might be a little on the sweeter side. Service is really good too. Next time going to try the hotpot :). Tips are not required just 18% service fee added to your total bill, but if you want, you can give cash tips to your waitress. Good place to go if you crave for hotpot, BBQ, or both.
Kirin Asian BBQ and Hot Pot offers a delightful dining experience with its interactive cooking options and delicious menu. However, it's important to note that there is a mandatory 18% charge for a manager fee added to the bill, which can be a surprise for some customers. Additionally, the service staff may ask for an additional tip on top of this mandatory charge, resulting in a total tip of 38% of the meal, which can feel excessive and unexpected.
While the food and atmosphere at Kirin Asian BBQ and Hot Pot are enjoyable, the high mandatory charge and additional tip request can be a downside for many patrons. It's important for the restaurant to communicate this mandatory charge clearly to customers upfront to avoid any misunderstandings and allow them to make informed decisions.
That being said, if you are prepared for the additional charges, the dining experience itself is pleasant. The interactive cooking style is fun, allowing you to customize your meal to your liking. The menu offers a good variety of options, including fresh ingredients and flavorful sauces. The staff is generally attentive and friendly, ensuring a satisfactory dining experience.
Overall, Kirin Asian BBQ and Hot Pot provides a unique dining experience with its interactive cooking concept and tasty menu options. However, the mandatory 18% charge for a manager fee and the additional tip request can be off-putting for some customers, resulting in a significantly higher total cost. If you are comfortable with the added charges and looking for an interactive dining experience, Kirin Asian BBQ and Hot Pot may still be worth a visit.
Excellent all around. Western Massachusetts needed a place like this and we have it. Will be going back.
Food was displayed very nicely and everything was so clean. Food quality was top notch and the variety of sauces is appreciated. I recommend the house sauce.
Flavorful broths perfect for hot pot ingredients for which the choices are bountiful & fresh! The broths range from a mild mushroom based soup to super spicy with the standbys of miso and tomato. Most seem to be a bit high in sodium so that is a drawback; but with plenty of water during and for a couple of days after it's all good.
That aside, it is absolutely delicious and the service is outstanding from the server to the runners you'll find superb team work that enhances you're visit. A great place to meet up with family and friends for a nice leisurely meal and a Korean/Chinese cultural experience. 18% is added to the bill for a tip and worth it. Probably more so, Monday through Friday when the price is lower per person. I have to say everything we received was very clean and some adverse reviews may have been a learning curve.
All you can eat with very good selection of meats seafood and veggies, the food was delicious and the service exceptional, our server kayla was very helpful and offered to demonstrate and was quick to answer any questions we had. And the food was on the table in no time. The bartender Katrina was super nice, and the drinks were good. They added an 18% service fee to the bill, but if you want to tip your server a little more bring cash, Overall, it was a great experience with great food and friendly service.
