Good pizza, but they definitely need to change the layout. Counters too tall and hallway is too thin. I don't want strangers rubbing up on me while I pick out my pizza.
This place is a cramped hole in the wall but the pizza is very good. We went for a large meat lovers pizza and it was loaded. The crust was perfect - a little crunch with a lot of chew. Lots of regulars based on the staff conversations with customers. Usually a good sign.
An excellent quality pizza shop i have ever visited. It even has a dollar pizza offer on all weekend mid nights. A variety of non vegetarian and vegetarian pizzas are available. One can get how many ever slices of pizza is needed and the shop is opened from 10am to 2am. One can feel a great sense of satisfaction after eating pizza as there is also value for money apart from the excellent taste. A must to try place located in the downtown of Amherst.
Tortellini on a pizza? Yes, please. This place has some of the craziest pizza options I've ever seen, but they do them well. Service is very quick. Food is great. Choice of canned and bottled drinks. Wonderful eats!
Everyone will say that this is the best pizza on the planet. Everyone will say that it is the one place you need to go when in Amherst... that chicken bacon ranch is the best slice... that "hot cheese up front" is the only thing that matters on a Friday night... that ordering a whole pizza for yourself is the right thing to do... and they are right.
Antonio's is the right place to be when in Amherst.
My personal favorite is the spicy chicken slice, but the tortellini and many other unique choices are delicious too.
Go to Antonio's, don't regret skipping it.
