Hampshire Dining Commons

The food is always good!!! Make sure you try their smooties ????. I have tried their dishes on multiple occasions and I have never been disappointed.

This place is one of the better dining halls on the campus of UMass Amherst. The food they serve is always consistentent. However, one downside is they do not serve soda or ice cream. UMass dining believes that froyo is the healthier option. If you want ice cream or soda fountains, you would need to go to the other dining halls. Doing so would set you back on the great quality food.

Absolutely fantastic.....make sure to walk completely around the serving circle before deciding on your choice of food, so many different selections and types to choose from. Try the chicken stir fry, it was great, select the vegetables you want, hand your plate to the chef and viola.....he whips it up in a wok, right before your eyes.

Clean, fast, courteous, all you can eat food stations with wide array of ethnic offerings ( Latin, Italian, Asian, Traditional American ) at a great value. Always fun to have an omelette station and the Asian soup offerings are a must whatever they are that day. Sushi is good as a side dish. Hey, it's a college cafeteria that does not remotely remind me of my own college days.
